Hello and welcome to my take on the Gadget World!

Let me introduce myself. I go by the name of Gadget Girl. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not the most technically minded person around (in fact, it’s fair to say I’m often found quite literally tearing my hair out when I can’t get something to work!) and I certainly don’t claim to know everything there is to know about gadgets, but I know what I like!

I used to work for an online gadget store where I wrote about a diverse range of weird and wonderful gadgets, gifts and toys from the practical and functional to the fun and frivolous. The best part of the job was that we got to try out all the gadgets for ourselves which often resulted in some pretty funny moments in the office. I came across some right tat, but also some really great stuff and I suppose one person’s favourite gadget, is another person’s tat! I’m always interested to read reviews of gadgets I like or dislike that disagree with my opinion - hey, I’m open to the idea of you making me change my mind!

Here at Pocket Gadget, I’ll be giving you my viewpoint on the gadget world, telling you about all the latest gizmos that I believe will be popular and sell out as well as the ones that I just don’t see the point in! I’ll also point you in the direction of my favourite gadget websites where you may come across products you’d like to try for yourself or purchase for a friend. New gadgets are being introduced all the time, so there is so much for us to explore together. Whether you’re interested in things to help you out in the kitchen, gadgets for your car, USB devices to plug into your PC, things to use with your iPod or simply downright silly gizmos to get your friends, then I hope you will find my gadget blog useful, informative and maybe even entertaining!
